Every effort will be made to honor appointment times, but please be prepared for minor delays during periods of high customer volume. Only one appointment time slot per person, please. If you are unable to keep a scheduled appointment, you will be able to cancel/reschedule online anytime or by calling our office during business hours.
Fingerprinting services are provided Monday through Friday, 8:30 AM to 4:30 PM, at our office on the second floor of the Wake County Detention Center at 3301 Hammond Road, Raleigh. For directions and parking information, please see http://www.wakegov.com/ccbi/publicservices/Pages/directions.aspx.
Fingerprinting services cost $30 for the first fingerprint card and $5 for each subsequent card, per customer, each visit. Payment is due at the time of service. Payments accepted: cash or check only. Out of state checks accepted with a valid North Carolina driver's license and local address.
Individuals wishing to obtain fingerprints must present a current/valid, government-issued, photo identification (for example, state-issued driver’s license or ID card, passport, U.S. military ID). No digital representations of said identification will be accepted.
